Gambling - Test Purchase Warning

The ALMR’s Amusement Machine Working Group are warning of further test purchase operations by the Gambling Commission concerning gaming machines in licensed venues.

The need for proper staff training in this area, like alcohol sales and other regulatory areas is important.  A code of practice issued by the Gambling Commission in August 2014 the responsibilities of machine operators and how compliance with these responsibilities is expected to be achieved.  For those preparing new staff training materials this code of practice would be useful reading.  Here is a link to the Gambling Commission code of practice for gaming machine in clubs and premises with an alcohol licence.
